Position: High Vacuum Equipment Engineer/Technologist
Location: Ithaca, New York
Description:
Mechanically oriented engineer with hands-on experience in
vacuum systems and related semiconductor processing equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Independently manage the procurement, installation, and debugging of thin film deposition and etching tools.
- Develop and implement maintenance procedures and schedules for same.
- Help develop novel processes for the fabrication of optoelectronic devices.
- Design of custom fixtures and tooling for wafer handling.
Other requirements:
- In depth knowledge and experience in high vacuum systems and equipment.
- Proven track record as an independent contributor and team member.
- Experience in semiconductor materials processing desirable.
- BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
